GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF THE CYCLE
This cycle continues with the traditional teachings of the stonemasonry professional, adapting its contents to the regulated teachings by integrating modules of the CM of Natural Stone and the training modules of the basic curriculum of the artistic teachings leading to the title of technician in plastic arts and design in artistic reproductions in stone.
Students who complete the three years corresponding to this cycle will obtain a double degree:
The general competence of this qualification consists of extracting and processing natural stone according to established techniques and processes, as well as setting and restoring it, handling and maintaining tools and machinery, and complying with quality, occupational safety and environmental protection specifications.
The students who obtain this qualification may carry out their professional activity as self-employed or as employees in generally private companies, of small, medium or large size, in natural stone or construction. They may also work in artisan and artistic workshops, and carry out technical functions, carrying out orders and achieving objectives set by higher-level technical personnel, from whom they receive instructions and to whom they report
